It would be unsurprising to say Phantasy Star... but I will say only the classic SMS/Genesis ones; I didn't like PSO and haven't played Portable. Like, III suddenly makes no sense now. (Ok, fine, it made no sense to begin with, but moreso now) |

As I said, as a standalone game it's probably the best- PS1 is too obtuse, PS2 is the difficult one, and PS3 is a mess... |

I remember my teams in that game tended to be heavy in bird-types... not necessarily legendary birds, but also like Pidgeot and such. |
