You sure it's not your internet connection? Jump and splat makes me think of a failed jump in VVVVVVV or something, though.

I've heard a lot of televisions apply filtering and such to images by default that could result in a slight time lag... maybe try looking through the settings to see if anything could be disabled?

No, but anyone can have lag-spikes despite their connection, idiot. That's beside the point, though, since I suspected it might be a single-player game. Which is why I made the comment about VVVVVVV.

There is, however, a game called VVVVVV. Trapster apparently can't count, or doesn't see that it's six Vs, not seven.

Even more fun fact: internet lag spikes are not tied to HDMI cables.

It probably has an issue similar to capture bridges, where the device is compressing the data before being sent to display. When I record using my Dazzle, I have to run a splitter from my system to both the Dazzle and my TV so that I can play normally.

It's so great to be back again! It's still terribly slow, but now my router is somewhat functional.
