Posted by GywallFinal Bowser in Paper Mario game me more trouble than I feel it was worth. I had to essentially beat him twice, because he healed himself that much. The only reason I beat him was because he picked the wrong move when I was down to a killable HP. I had 11 HP, and he went for a jump instead of a fire breath, which I blocked and had my power go up because of a badge. I did a twice boosted five-hit Power Bounce for the win. |

Back to the grind in FFII.
I finished up Firion, Maria, and Gus on Unarmed and moved on to Knife (Firion and Gus) and Sword (Maria). They're at 7 already. Why am I not upping Leon with them? I need something to keep track of the amount of turns I spend in each fight, so I use him to spam spells and watch his MP go down. During this process, he has already mastered Drain, and has Toad at 7. |

Speaking of Final Fantasy, I still need to finish X, X-2 and XII... |

I just spent an hour in a single fight, wasting 142 turns to raise my weapons. Why? Because, like a retard, I thought that weapons could increase limitlessly per fight since I had been gaining two levels per fight... Now I realize why: I have two weapons of the same class equipped, and gaining exp for attacking is applied to each instance of the skill in question.
Meaning, if I had a knife and an axe equipped instead of two of either type, it would have stopped me at one level each. Why am I retarded sometimes? |

I have finally broken down and done what the Angry Video Game Nerd did in his review of Terminator, and clamped the button down on my PSP. Only, in my case, it's so that I have both of my hands to do other things.
Picture proof: I made sure to grab a clamp with plastic pads to avoid damaging my PSP. EDIT: I found the magical End of the Timer... 99:59. It doesn't cycle back to zero or continue to 100, it just... Stops. Boring. |

Playing some Fallout 3 while focusing on negative karma to access some different quest-lines from the first time.. Quite entertaining.
Also, forgot how much ammo the assault rifles eat... The world could always use more heroes! |

Playing some more Fallout 3 and run straight into a brick wall.. I've somehow got to save up 2000 caps just to continue the storyline.. This might be difficult.. Especially considering I don't really know any cap-building tricks for it. The world could always use more heroes! |

That's ridiculous. Whoever attacks with anything that isn't a found gun or the scrap launcher thingy? |

Posted by GreyMariaTaking that one up.. They're useful for surviving an ambush or two from anything when you're low on health. Stumbled upon the Scrapyard and picked up Dogmeat this evening.. Makes for a good decoy against raiders. Also, it's fun getting power armor training and using it against an Enclave ambush.. Killed the first guy and used his power armor against the others. Worked quite nicely.. except there's not enough Enclave to maintain the armor with.. The world could always use more heroes! |

Finished Final Fantasy II's main storyline. Having done all of that grinding made running through Jade Passage and Pandaemonium a walk in the park. Not a single battle lasted longer than two turns of combat, and none of the enemy melee attacks landed. I only took magical damage.
I then started Soul of Rebirth. It's much shorter, but its difficulty is easily taken beyond eleven because of how hard it is to grind properly, and all three dungeons are crawling with really tough enemies. |

Just wrapped up Soul of Rebirth.
I deliberately did it as a minimalist run to contrast the grind-everything-to-maximum approach I took to the main game, and I still wiped the floor with The Emperor in four full turns. I didn't even have any of the "HEY! WATCH OUT FOR THIS, 'CAUSE IT'LL REALLY FUCK YOU UP!" stuff happen. The battle went like this:
I overkilled the bastard by about 4000 damage. Here's how the main game's final boss went:
Overkilled by about 6000 there. |

Does *anyone* have Worms 2: Armageddon for XBLA? I am dying to play it with someone. Also, I would be willing to jump on the bandwagon and get into Minecraft if someone wants to share the cost with me. I just can't swallow the $20 price tag... |

I have money to throw around. I do agree that $20 is a bit much for a game that's still in major development. :s |
