I'm glad I bought Minecraft in Alpha, when it was only $10.

That also, supposedly, gets you free updates for life. Dick move if you ask me.

I purchased in Alpha too. :y

Does *anyone* have Worms 2: Armageddon for XBLA? I am dying to play it with someone.
Yup.

As for what I've been playing? Red Dead Redemption. I seem to have an addiction to skipping big titles and then playing them once the price comes down.. >_>

Also, there's just something satisfying about the game..

I'll do you one better: I skip the big titles, and then don't pay at all.

I certainly paid the price when the Skyrim construction kit was released and I couldn't get it to work at first ^_^

I'm a cheap bastard. I buy when there's sales.

It's how I got Skyrim for a slightly more sane price.

I'm not a pirate. Have no plans on it either..
I just tend to think launch prices are overpriced. Especially the "just swap the currency symbol" priced titles.

Piracy is how I can afford all this pony :)

That's really all there is to say on the matter.

Can we please get back to what we're playing instead of what we're paying?

The sad thing is this is how fast food works, too. :x

Totally considering finally firing up the Dwarf Fortress legacy game tonight.

I have money to throw around.
Are you suggesting you would actually help foot the bill just to have someone to play minecraft with?

Also, Gywall, we should play worms sometime.

I'm saying I would help with the bill just to be a random nice guy.

I'd probably have spent it on something dumb like furry porn anyway.

Incidentally, Minecraft multiplayer is pretty bluh.

My decision to buy the game would be dependent on how much you would be nice enough to cover. Obviously if it was $0.01 I'd say fuck off troll and move on. :P

Seriously though, PM sent.

...I don't know what's worse, paying for furry porn or paying for friends on the internet. :P

But yeah, I like the simple games; I have been playing the shit out of Worms 2: Armageddon, Boom Boom Rocket, and..... yeah, that's pretty much it right now. @Gywall, are you already on my friends list? I seem to remember seeing you on there.

Hey, I'm up for 50% for sure.

And paying for furry porn is definitely worse, because that doesn't mean quite as much to friends. :-3

I've made it to Special and saved Luigi in Super Mario 3D Land.

It won't be long until you've reached the point where I lost interest with that game. >_> Maybe I should try and pick it up again one of these days...

100% completion or bust for me.

I three-starred all three save files on New Super Mario Bros..

I am that hardcore.

Now that Final Fantasy II is done, I don't know what to do now. I spent two and a half months on that game, and now that it's over I have all of the other games that have piled up on me that I got while playing it on top of the ones I already had backlogged!

I don't even know where to begin. I tried playing Thousand Year Door, but my timing was off on everything and I got pissed and stopped. I also got started on Vagrant Story, which I didn't play very far, because seeing the art style and knowing it was set in Final Fantasy Tactics' Ivalice made me want to go back to Final Fantasy Tactics and start it again.

Should I list all of the games I have backlogged and let you guys recommend where to go first?

I think I'm going to buy a 3DS. But, I'll be getting the XL because, hey, why the fuck not. Especially since it'll be released alongside the NSMB2 game. I really want it JUST for Paper Mario: Sticker Star. I also have a DSTWO, so that is also worth it to me since it'll work on it, as long as Nintendo doesn't include some sort of block that's impossible to get by.

On another note, FUCK completion. It's like a chore to me. I like to play the game. The only games I've ever got a 100% completion on is SMA4: SMB3 and SM64.

Trel, keep playing TTYD. You can get badges that make the timing easier. It's a bit harder than PM1, but you get used to it. It's really worth the effort.

I don't think so. I certainly don't remember sending a friend request.. or receiving one. I use my other online alias of "Draobyek"

I decided to kill some time with Punch Out Wii. I knew you could play with the balance board (which I don't have) or just the nunckuck... What I didn't know was that you could play classic NES style with the Wiimote on its side. I like that, and it makes it feel a little more nostalgic.

I love how King Hippo roars on the opponent select screen. I sat there for five minutes, giggling like a retard, listening to it because it seems so fitting.

Played some more Red Dead Redemption. I just question how a Mexican gang member, inside an American fort, can manage to survive a headshot from the Buffalo Rifle.. Especially considering the Buffalo Rifle completely obliterates a rabbit..
