I baked up my last DiGiorno pizza from last week's groceries. It was a spicy chicken supreme, and of the three I bought, it was my favorite of them.

The first one I baked was a chicken Parmesan-style... It was gross. I only ate half of it before being disgusted thoroughly by it. Don't buy the DiGiorno Italian-style "favorites." I've had two of them, and they were both nasty.

Dad just made an interesting dessert. It was kinda a cobbler, but instead of the normal crust it was shredded filo dough. Filo dough is a special kind of bread where they take the dough and make it paper thin, then lay layers of it on top of each other. For example, baklava is made from filo dough.

This cobbler had cinnamon and brown sugar on it, and peaches inside, it was very nice.


EDIT: Dessert as two s's. I want deliciousness, not sand. Thank you for teaching me that, Scooby Doo.

Several years ago..I never tried any of the ones they had out, one was white I think. Why are they just coming out with them today? (2012)

No, Mountain Dew White Out was something else, it just came out similarly to Code Red did back a looooooooooooooooooong time ago in that it didn't have any tie-ins. They just wanted to do it.

And now that you mention it just now coming out... Are you, by chance, talking about this?

If you are, then yeah, it's new. It's a promotion to go alone side the new Batman movie.

I bought a two liter bottle of it yesterday to try it. I hope it's not as nasty as Voltage.

Yeah. That's what I'm talking about. Commercials are going around about it the last few days and I never knew they were just promoting a Batman movie. Kinda cool though, I might try it out later.

I've never tried anything other than original stuff. Probably won't watch the Batman movie, just buy it for the pop. I hope it's not limited edition, I hate that shit. You get addicted to it and then it is removed after certain days.

One of the girls that works at Taco Bell had a bag of Jack Link's orinigal recipe jerky she didn't want, so she gave it to me.

I cracked open the Mountain Dew Dark Berry like I said I would.

I took one sip of it and almost spit it back out. It was sour and kinda nasty. I wasn't expecting it at all. It didn't even taste like a berry-flavored Mt Dew... It was gross.

I feel like I wasted $1.25, because I don't know if I want to drink it.

Hate to break it to you, but most of the time, there isn't much thought put into a lot of shit nowadays. Most companies see the opportunity for a quick buck, and throw something together to cash in on a promotion.

Case in point, this spinoff Mountain Dew.

Honestly, what this reminds me of is the "grape" Pitch Black flavor. It was sour and nasty, too.

I'm going to put it like one of the review people I watch (Tatsudoshi of Multipurpose Spam) says... Artificial flavors like 'grape' and 'berry' are neither grape, nor berry. Instead they are flavored purple and blue, respectively, because neither tastes like they're supposed to.

Dark Berry taste very... Blue.
