I've been playing Final Fantasy 4 and The After Years for a let's play. I've also dabbled into Paper Mario for the N64 a bit and I got to say that I see why people like it. I've mostly been playing League of Legends though >w<

Did you reach me as a full character yet? :P

I'm actually playing the shitty GBA Version considering I don't have a PSP. Although there is an Emu for it, IIRC.

No not yet and once I get far enough I wont be using Rydia anyway
I actually like the GBA version the most

I only got up to the black out when she's a child, then I died and haven't played since.

Also she's the only summoner, she's great though, why not use her? :3

Just one last fight against Zeromus and it's beaten.

I lol'd when I never knew who Palom was.

Palom and Porom. The kids that petrify themselves to save you. That scene was infact teary. It made me cry. So didn't Yang's and Cid's. But hella, I have everyone except Tellah back. FuSoYa was suckier than I thought but At least I beat the whole damn thing pretty much.

I use Rydia Cecil Yang Porom and Edge, I put Cid and Kain away for now. Even though I have Thor's Hammer for Cid.

I need Yang because he does 9999 on the Dinozombies in the Lunar Subterrane.

But yeah. It's quite an emotional game.

The only thing about Rydia that's worth anything in my opinion is Titan and Bahamut. I like her character and all but her black magic is lackluster which kills her for me in terms of party use. My finale party will probably be Palom, Porom, Edge, Kain, Cecil.

Been playing Minecraft a bit and League of Legends again, I've also been playing Pokemon Black 2. I'm 90% sure I'm going to buy it when it comes out in the US.

Edge was useless, imo. Kain is good, yes, but It was hard for me to choose my party. But for the end battle, I believe, I'm going to use Cid, Yang, Kain, Edge and Cecil.

Only for strength purposes though, I really shouldn't use Edge, I'll use Rydia instead. Considering only Magic is useless in the Zeromus battle, not Summons. ;)

Edge... Useless... Are we playing the same game? Edge is one of the best fighters if you know what you're doing, only second to Cecil and just as good if not better then Yang. To say Edge is useless is just baffling really.

Started playing Pokemon Red to start my LP of that back up. I've also been tempted to do another playthrough of Final Fantasy 1.

Edge's use is that he attacks very fast and very hard. Even if you don't use his throw command he is one of the best party members in the game. His ninjutsu is also useful for casting blink quickly.

I have the Excalibur for Cecil, and that's that. Honestly, Edge has no use to me, I mean, Even if I do have his best weapon (Masafune or something) Then he still does little less than 1000. Yang does loads, and Cid does over 2000 with his attacks, most of the time.

Cid also does 9999 on Mecha enemies, same with Yand to deceased. I still have a final boss though, for Edwards best harp.

Not sure what you're doing with Edge, but he usually hits in the 5000-7000 range for me, and note that he attacks about 2x faster than everyone else. The only throw I've ever had him do was the kitchen knife, never bothered with throwing anything else that does less damage than his basic attacks.

And the swords you're thinking of for him are Masamune and Murasame (staying with the main story weapons).

Yeah, I have the Masamune, but I think the other one is guarded by some floating eyeball that casts doom upon everyone at once.

I don't know what to do in regards to that, though. I've never had him hit more that 2000 on a regular attack, throwing Fuma Shurikens was the better end of doing over 3000.

Played some more Minecraft on the SMP server ran by @Aesur, @Marzen64, and myself. Since my role on the server is to do the mining and all that happy shit, I have a cave base with a winding stairwell carved down to bedrock level that @Aesur started. Along the way down, there's almost a sub-basement with a small lava pool and a branching path that leads into a cave. Well, since he made a set of steps out of cobblestone in the unlit part of the cave, monsters were able to spawn and climb up into the lava room, and by extension, follow me down into my expansive mine.

At first, a zombie fell on my head, and I thought the way I had to redesign my stairwell reduced the light in the small landing I made to the point where shit could spawn. Having taken care of the zombie, I investigated, and found that my torch setup still provided adequate lighting, but being the paranoid sissy that I am when it comes to Minecraft, I resituated the torches to provide more-than-necessary light to keep mobs from spawning.

Having widened my narrow mine from 64 long by 2 wide by 6 high to being 6 wide, I decided to take a load of cobble, redstone, and various ores (yet, very disappointingly, no diamond) back to the surface, I noticed another zombie shambling down my stairs, that are lit nearly every third step with a torch, so I know it's properly lit... I killed that zombie with my iron pickaxe, since it was my best item to use, I decided to investigate the room with the lava pool.

Lo and behold, what do I see? Another zombie and a creeper! I kinda freaked out since my inventory was full of valuables and I lacked a weapon... I took care of the third zombie without catching the attention of the creeper, until I retardedly went after the experience orbs. I was able to punch the creeper in the face, which pissed it off into lighting its fuse. I knocked it back far enough that it only did a few hearts of damage to me, but blew a hole in the floor that revealed another lava pool. Being careful, I filled in the gap with gravel and cobblestone to make the floor traverse-able again... But I decided to be more ballsy than necessary, and investigated the path toward the cave that I knew was dark.

Not even half way back to the cave, and what do I see? A second creeper. I backtrack as fast as I can to get away from it, but it follows me back to the lava room, gets close enough to start hissing, then I decked it in the face to knock it away. It took a nice chunk of the floor, and my health, with it.

Not wanting to risk a third creeper, I ran back up the stairs to my main base, dropped my shit into my chests for storage, and kicked on God Mode. For preparedness, I spawned a diamond sword and went back into the cave area. Going spelunking, I found that nothing else had spawned, but I took precautions and gave the whole area a generous douching of light by plastering it with torches. I wasn't taking any chances. Having finished that up, I repaired the floor of the lava room, again, filled the lava pool back in with a lava bucket I spawned for that express purpose, then threw it and the diamond sword in to destroy them to preserve the fact that we didn't have diamond tools yet. As extra precaution, I blocked off the path to the cave system with a block of cobble, and plastered the lava room with torches.

Now you know why I always play on Peaceful.

You mean Plague? Berserk Cecil, Edge and Kain. Rosa using Aim or auto attack, Rydia casting Flare is the easiest way to beat him. Don't worry about trying to heal or slow the haste he casts on you after doom. Just max damage output. He has 33333 HP, I believe. And you'll get the Holy Lance for killing him...Edge's last katana is in the next level down, and you fight Ogopogo for it (hyper version of Leviathan with 50000 HP).
