College stopped happening a year ago. I'm starting over at a community college now and actually working towards the major I ACTUALLY want as opposed to one I turned out to not be interested in at the end.

The major is Game Design, before you ask.

That sounds like me. I went to college for computer programming, which isn't what I want to do for a living. I was interested in it back in 2003-2005 and my parents basically convinced me to study it because it would make lots of money. Bleh, money isn't everything ^_~

Now I'm trying to get into a graduate school to become a teacher ^_^

Obviously. As you were so good at redesigning a good Game. I'm going to refer to Game Designing if I don't get a licence as a cop.

I like designing games, but my tastes tend toward ancient 8-bit games that would never sell now ^_~

My latest hacking attempts have actually been SMW based. Drawing my own tilesets and slowly making levels. Very slowly. I guess that's just my pace when there's nothing but simple self-motivation as the main motivating factor. I'm sure I'd work faster, better, more effectively if I was in an actual career situation.

I'm tossing around the idea of trying Super Metroid again once SMILE and its new authors put out some newer, more user-friendly versions. The lack of user-friendliness was the biggest thing that annoyed me back then.

As far as SMILE goes, it's actually no better than before. Jathy's never released 3.0. It let me down, but AFAIK he stopped working on it period, and now someone else is.

But if you want to, I just released a hack last night with SMW shit in it, from Rainbow City. :-3

Here It's rather decent, Small, but decent.
