YouTube is basically one thing people can't stop bitching about, especially its interface. What annoys you the most.

Some things that come to my mind:

* When a user adds an Improvements section to his channel, YouTube autotranslates it if your interface language isn't English, and given how autotranslate tends to turn out, it usually leads to lots of nonsense. Nothing else is translated like this so it makes me wonder why they did it.

* The constant "Load more" buttons in video lists... it makes me kinda wonder why they couldn't have made it like Twitter which automatically loads further entries once you scroll down enough.

* The left bar on the YouTube main page.

That you can't click a video without it turning out to be something that 999 out of 1000 people disliked. (No like/dislike bar near video thumbnails)

Or, have a setting in your account that allows you to specify like/dislike ratio so Youtube won't show videos below that threshhold. Even if it's a pay feature I'd go for it.

Recommendations suck, too.

Also, Gywall, the fact that you're annoyed is YouTube's fault for making such a shitty interface. :P

Eh, the new design for the pages are annoying but I'll get used to them eventually. I don't even REALLY mind people complaining about it, at least I don't have to see this whining EVERY TIME I go on Youtube. Unlike, say, Facebook.

Last view: 2693 days 		The fact that youtube now forces bandwidth priority when uploading a video. It's great and all to be uploading fast, but for crying out loud, I will want to be able to be on IRC on the same freaking time at least. :/

As for the interface, the new channel they are trying to push through with right now are pretty terrible for finding videos, which begs the question if they want youtube to be a video site at all anymore. It seems more like it's turning into a social medium/blog. :/

I would have itemized my hate for the Youtube interface, but it's not worth it.

I'd at LEAST like for them to make it impossible to privatize a video after it has at least one like or favorite. >_<

My lists are full of holes. That I can't get rid of. And can't remember what used to be there so I can get reuploads of them.

Back then, there wasn't retro-style plugins. :P

* Epele Checks for firefox plugins..

Seems some for functionality.. most for enable an "unblock" proxy. :/

Either way, I have my phone's app. That's pretty neat.

Most of those 90% dislike videos are trollbaits with misleading titles. Why youtube seems to be encouraging those videos popularity despite being obviously suck by the ratings is beyond me.

Though I'm fine with controversial videos popping up as those tend to have 50/50 ratings (videos criticizing creationism for example).

Actually now that I think about it, yeah, I hate having google and youtube accounts linked. I was given a google account for my school's email, and I already had a Youtube account. I gotta keep switching between the two whenever I wanna use either one, despite them on COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WEBSITES. Guh.

The linking bothers me too- I had avoided having a YouTube account, but now I involuntarily have an outdated Gmail linked to my Youtube activity for some reason. (as my Google Account was previously only used for Google Reader)

Though the thing that confuses me about YouTube in general- the original player didn't cover up any of the video when moused-over, but the newer ones always do- given how much space there is on the page that isn't the video, and that the video is the most important part, I don't really understand it... (I can see how it would make sense on, say, full-screen, or even in embedding, but in the normal view?)
