I was planning to randomize it with a judgment call on if the person needs it or not. There are some of you I'd like to see do battle, and I certainly don't want the bye, myself.

This will be a double elimination tournament! So even if you lose, you will still have a chance at placing in second or third! Prizes are still in the works, but I will have something worked out by the end.
I made up our bracket. It goes as thus: @Trapster VS @Gywall @Marzen64 VS @Kironide @Trelior VS @Rydia @Aesur gets a bye You will have until July 29 to PM your log to me. Make sure the Save Log box is checked!  |

I did it that way for two reasons: One, he's currently banned and can't post right now, so I'll have the log automatically. Two, I wanted to personally test him without running the risk of him losing to anyone else before he reached me.
Should he not see this by the time the deadline comes up, I will battle @Aesur instead and make it a truncated tournament. |

What tournament have you ever participated in allowed changing teams between rounds? None I've ever been in.

I haven't been awake while Rydia has been on, I will have time on Sunday.
Kironide appears to be blowing this off. If He and Marzen don't have their match, he will be dropped and Aesur will battle Marzen instead. Requesting a change because you're already in the losers' bracket is a poor excuse for a change, I don't care who it is. If you change your team, you change your dynamic and it isn't fair that you improved your team just because you fucked up in the first round. If I find out someone is doing this, I will disqualify them. |

I can't battle, and stuff because the same reason I gave Trelior as to the deadline, I'm out for the weekend on a trip in the city, and I am at my mothers. But I told you guys I would download it, but that was when I got home, which won't be until August 16th. And I get home at night so I wouldn't have time to do anything, so August 17th would be the best bet to do anything. Sorry.  |

I don't see anywhere in this thread directly stating that you would miss this. You also had ample time after I posted the bracket for you to let me know that you weren't able to participate, so this seems to me like a poor excuse to getting out of a battle.
Also, from the way you were talking, you already had the game and had something put together. The bracket will be reformed with @Aesur as my opponent. Hopefully I'll have the round one results gathered by tonight. |

Well, seeing as my battle was refused yesterday, and I received nothing from either Kironide or Marzen about their battle, this is officially dead. Trapster wins with Gywall in second by default because no one else participated.
I started this tournament so that we would actually be doing something with it, and it wouldn't stagnate. Well guess what! Nothing was done with it, and it stagnated. I'm not going to helm something with no interest, so I'm closing this. |
