From a standalone standpoint that's pretty neat, but since it has to coexist with other layouts where one's eyes will be expecting the text to be in a certain position I wonder how well it will work >_>

This is a valid concern. I hope everyone's cool with it, though. I think it's pretty neat. I was inspired by seeing the version of Jet's layout he had before this earlier.

Kiyoshi: that layout looks much better. If anything, it could use less saturation and be more pastel-y... but I don't have complaints as of now.
