Moai Kun is a Japanese NES game where they mix action & puzzle elements. Legato made an editor for the game awhile ago, so I decided to give it a spin & made a few levels for the game. Next thing you know it I added Luigi getting SMB2 cherries and now it's a full blown hack.
I've been working on my Moai Kun hack non stop but I'm almost done, 20 more levels to go. It's gonna be a 50 level hack, I used enemies where I wasn't supposed to so it messed up levels at the end. Anyway, here's pics from levels 13 to 30...

I had to admit, wasn't familiar with this game. So I looked it up. I think luigi and SMB2/SMBUSA is a good fit for this game. Looks great so far @Googie!

The Japanese have some odd obsession with Moai, and I yet have to see a good explanation why. The original game is very quirky, with music that sounds like it was straight out of some tv show.
