Been playing Secret of Mana. I've been playing for somewhere near ten hours.

I just saved Salamander from the morons that are after the mana seeds to power their retarded golem, and now I'm on my way to the Ice Palace.

My team is level 23 with middling ranks in their weapon skills (3-4 for their primary weapons) and my magic skills are pretty weak... My highest is the girl's Undine level, which is 2, then there's the sprite's Gnome level, which is 1. Everything else is still at 0.

I've been playing and testing a little bit of my RPG System. Not much now but is sure is fun killing things with introductions of some new developed abilities.

I also played a little bit of Minecraft lately too. Looking forward to that latest snapshot. I built a pretty awesome house thinks to the ability for logs to switch sides. I love it.

Oh man...I remember grinding my mana for HOURS, DAYS even...just to get them all maxed out. I think it was Lumina that takes the longest, just because of the higher spell costs? Been quite a few years, easily over 10 since I played it.

Currently grinding away on the PC re-release of FFVII. About to hit Gold Saucer for the first time, but will most likely spend a long time building up everyone's limit breaks to the point where the level 4s are the only ones left to get. In that process, a few materia will most likely be mastered as well.

Playing Minecraft Snapshot 12w34a. I like some of the new things such as the item frames. You can like have a compass on them that points your way to spawn and even have a map on them which will be a green arrow where it is located. (It is located on your map as well.) And maps auto show grids now so you don't have to explore.

Oh, and I spawned in a village for my test world. That was pretty awesome.

Secret of Mana is one of those games that I couldn't get into. Kinda like Super Mario RPG, which I also mentioned earlier. They're both really good games, and they're enjoyable, but.... I just can't get into them. There's a major difference between what made me stop playing them though: I just stopped with SMRPG, but in Secret of Mana, I got stuck and couldn't bother looking it up. The game was fun but there was something about it that didn't make me bother to put in the effort to continue.

In other news I got this feisty little vampiress last night in League of Legends.

Most female champions in LoL are played up for sex appeal. NO ONE is played up for sex appeal like Evelynn is. She is the Gaston of sex appeal.

My run of NSMB2 is kinda slow going. Between wanting to play other games, being busy with work, and being exhausted after getting home, I'm not getting much of anything accomplished.

I'm in World 3, spelunking for missed star coins and trying to find secret exits. I'm missing stuff in Worlds 2, 3, and Mushroom and it's driving me nuts. I want to find them on my own since lately, I've been relying on walkthroughs far too much.

As for other games I've been dinking around in... I'm on stage four of Mighty Switch Force, painstakingly trying to meet the par time for each stage. Mainly because the game is so damn short (sixteen levels is tiny for a game I spent six bucks on).

Planet Crashers is another. I find the humor of the game to be quirkily charming, but the gameplay is a bit clunky and hard to handle. Dunno if it was worth ten bux...

Phantom Thief Stina doesn't seem too bad, but I can't seem to play it for very long. Probably because the first (and only) time I started it up, I had the 3D on full and I hold my 3DS in a way that makes the 3D headache-inducingly disorienting. I have since discovered my comfortable 3D setting for gameplay to be around 30% depth.

Finally (last for the 3DS) is Find Mii. I like the concept of it, but I don't really care for it because of the play coin daily gain limit. Hiring heroes never gets me anyone I can use, which is a waste.

As for the play coin gain... Ten coins a day for a hundred steps each? Fuck that! Come on, Nintendo, if you want to encourage carrying the gmmick-of-the-week with your consumers, give them better perks. I feel that all they're doing is giving the Mii Plaza games fake longevity.

In Secret of Mana, I just got Luna's magic and her seed's power. I also just was told to go to the Tree Palace and get Dryad. My characters are in the mid-40s in level. My weapon skills are all either at 0 or 4, with my primaries being at 5. The girl's magic is all at maxed a 7, and it only took an hour or so to get it there, even with Wisp's insane cast costs. The sprite's magic is trailing since I don't have the patience to chase monsters around to cast on them (I can never get the timing for chain casting). Telling my party to stay back and guard doesn't help, either, they still run up and slice my target.

@Ryudo: use Sprite's grandfather in the Wind Palace for effectively infinite mana, and you get full exp for weapons being drawn in the palace.

Got to playing "Cthulhu Saves the World" and I have to say it is enjoyable to play. I am just happy I got reminded of it and it is fairly cheap on steam.

Got to the Zombie Town so far. I'll play some more tomorrow. ^_^

Had to restart Secret of Mana this morning, because the glitch to get the eighth sword orb fucked up and corrupted my save file.

I'm on my way back through the Mysterious Forest to fight Elinee. I made it all the way into the castle before Zarik (my hero) died, and I had to backtrack to Kippo to use the inn. Since I had deliberately raised Laera (the girl) to be a point or two above Zarik on exp, I figured I would try to get Onaro (the sprite) up to scuff... It's gonna take a while since he's about 700 exp behind.

I've had lots of annoying game-ending glitches happen to me like that.... It can happen in Metroid Prime 2 and Twilight Princess if you're not careful, and it happened to me. MIGHT be the reason I haven't beaten either game, but probably not, since I eventually got far past both points.

Team Fortress 2's new Mann VS Machine mode it kinda fun and I've been playing it on and off the past week.

Played some more "Cthulhu Saves the World" recently and I am near the sick town of whatever near the port. I've sort of really leveled up and grinded for EXP as expected. I like overkilling enemies.

I like overkilling enemies.

If you get to some sort of icy cave and find an enemy called "Wisp" something, kill those for crazy exp.

If you're lucky, you'll encounter 5-6 at once.
