Posted by TKB There's two status bars that you can toggle through by pressing Select. The 1st and 3rd status bars show the normal status. The status bar in the 2nd screenshot is showing noncratical stats. All 3 screens come from the same build. |

Shit, DD, I like them all, but which ones do I like MOST? I'll try to tell you why I like each one.
1) I like the darker one because it feels a little bit like shade on a hot summer day. Like temporary cloud coverage. 2) The middle one looks more... reflective, like the highlights are brighter, suggesting midday with the sun bright as hell. Perhaps the sky color could be brighter, but really that color is also just fine. 3) This palette seems more... soft, which I think really fits best with your style of graphics. Looking at these though gives me an idea. Could you slightly tweak your palettes in-level if, say, you have an Angry Sun present? Those palettes are subtle enough and similar enough to use them as a transition for when you kill an Angry Sun. Or even as a cue for "time of day" for your day/night feature. I also wanted to know something else; in what way did you change the level format? What's different from the original level format? |

I say three. It looks nice and soft. The second one, the pipes are too bright.
To better specify, IMO, use the third one, but for the red pipe, use the palette of the first image (they are not the same color I assume?), and use the palette of the flower and the ? block of the second one. |

I don't really see much difference between 2 and 3, so I'd have to go with 3 anyways. Now that Grid mentioned it the pipes do seem they could use palette toning. So for me, 1 because it's not s hard on the eyes and 3 because It's soft and nice and pretty much everyone else chose it. |

I too would say three. One is seems just a tad too dark. I like two as well, and it's nice a bright, but three fits the best. Even though this is probably going to be overruled anyway, number two has my vote. The first one looks too dark, and the green pipe doesn't look shiny enough in comparison to the other two pipes in the third one. ____________________ |
