I tend to be dangerous with gas. :x

If you were dangerous with gas, you wouldn't be posting here now.

And the favorite thing about my apartment is probably the amount of space it as despite only having two rooms and a kitchen. I don't have much more space on my shelves for stuff, though.

He could just be incredibly lucky, man.

Gas Stoves are quite uncommon here, I hadn't seen one in awhile. I guess it might be more common in some cities though, but not down here in Scania.

I live in a nice village which is near the sea and plenty of plantlife and variation (not like a dull suburban with identical houses everywhere) with immediate access to cheap public transportation. We have a relatively big garden too I been told. My only beef is the commuting time, so I have been considering moving closer to work.

3. Large kitchen... by Tokyo standards, at least. Most kitchens only have one electric burner and a tiny sink, but mine has two (!) gas burners, an area to cut vegetables and things, and a nice, roomy sink. Unfortunately, having a big kitchen cost me a bathroom sink... but that's getting into the things I don't like about my apartment. >_>
Tokyo probably have the amongst smallest apartments i seen, wardrobe sized ones when taken to the extreme.

the bouganvalia, the rays of light which hang in the air of a lazy afternoon, a loft where I can shut out the world and a sliver of the ocean which looks tremendous at sunrise/sunset. the beach is pretty at full moon, the bioluminescent tides and the inviting new moon.

gardenia and freesia to bloom in the coming season, fresh-cut tuberoses and delicious produce and pastries every week, the pomegranate/lime/fig trees and the ocean-side bike roads which go on for miles and the local coffee shop with their blueberry muffins and delicious quiche and pies

plus i dont have to pay for it
