I notice when I get on the Wii and try to get online in any of my games (read: Brawl, since it's the only WFC-compatible game I have), it lets me connect to the server, but then immediately kicks me out when I try to go to a game lobby.

My internet connection works just fine, all three laptops in the house can connect and use the internet without a problem, as well as the Wii itself for everything that isn't playing a game. I've gotten online with both my DSi and DS Lite, so I'm confused about why this is happening.

Anyone else having/had this problem? I'd really like to get online, despite how bad the WFC servers are.

I tried to play some online Brawl a few months ago and had almost the same problem. I'd make it to the waiting room with the sandbag and after a minute or so I'd get kicked out. This happened several times. Nintendo WFC is the worst thing.

Brawl's internet was always shit for me. I haven't tried to use it in... two years? I dunno, I stopped attempting a few months after it came out.

I dunno, Mario Kart Wii works FINE. Very well, in fact. I just think it's the way they made Brawl's, it doesn't really work right.

I have that problem to the extreme... It lets me get as far as character selection, but pretty much no farther.

When my selected character and the sandbag appear, no sooner do they begin to fall to the platform the error message pops up and kicks me back to the main menu.

Like I said, getting on with any of my multiple DS games works like a charm. I can battle and trade without issue in any of the seven Pokemon games, I can get to the lobby in Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker, access the shop in Dragon Quest IX, and everything... Brawl must just hate us. :/

Have you tried playing in a private lobby as such?

I've not had any issues with Nintendo WFC, but then again.. I never touch the main public online.

My reason for not touching public? Thank you Mr. "Dickhead" who used a "mature" Mii and raced in Mario Kart Wii under ten-thousand stars (or more correctly, the whole damned race under a Star)

The world could always use more heroes!

No, I haven't, I don't have any people's friend codes, so I can't do private matches.
