Last view: 1431 days 		ACTUALLY you can clap with one hand easily. Take one hand, and begin to open and close your hand in a way that makes a moderately soft clap.

See? Simple solution.

As for the tree, it might make a louder noise if it is shy since no one is around but be softer when people are around. We may never know though.
Perhaps we could use a recorder for science and make sure it doesn't know. How we can make sure, I am not sure myself. I'm no Treeologist!
