When you're not logged in:
1. the random sprites shouldn't appear, since you can't collect them anyway, 2. the reply links next to posts shouldn't appear either. |

Indeed you can't post while logged out in ABII. There are already no new thread/new reply links, so this only seems like a sensible change. |

Sprites showing up is a bug. When logged out their chance of showing is suppsoed to be 0. I'll mark it down.
Posting while logged out: New permissions system doesn't have the permissions setup for it. If we have a demand for it, we'll add it higher to the list of things to do. Is that something you would like? It's something that there support is mostly there, just not setup yet. If that's the case than what'll happen is the reply link will stay and open up a new reply with login/password. Thanks. Posted by Emuz How about letting them show up, store on cookies and telling guests to register if they want to keep them for longer than 30 days? Danbooru allows guests to have favorites, etc, all stored on cookies, I think it's a neat idea and drives some guests to register. |

I'm not sure what's been tried yet, since I haven't looked at anything, but... Couldn't you set the sprite layer to default as off in a way similar to setting the board's default theme? |
