Amazingly, I still exist. I got a new apartment recently and also got a really bad flu, which I'm mostly over.

One thing that always happens to me: I want to wash my hands, but end up brushing my teeth instead. Same the other way around.

Also, I go out of my room and then stand there wondering what I was actually going to do.

I don't think I am the only person who does things like that, or am I?

I do that "standing and wondering" thing a lot. It's like the act of walking to the next room has already caused me to forget.

With me, I enter the other room, then I'm like "Why did I come in here?" and sometimes I randomly guess and do some little task that needs doing (get food, replace the Kleenex box, etc.) and go back into the first room. Then, I remember what I wanted to do in the first place, which is never what I guessed, so I try to keep it in mind long enough to actually do it
