Last view: 929 days 		Famicompo, if you don't already know, is a cool NES music competition that happens almost every year. I submit covers (I'll submit originals one day..), and I entered the very first one, Mini Vol 2 (iirc), and Mini Vol 7 (with some VRC7 covers). I usually just stick to stock 2A03 with no expansions (2 pulse channels, noise, triangle, DMC), and I plan to do so for this year's entries.

I sort of forgot about Vol 8 after waiting for the announcement for a while. The deadline is the end of January. I have one or two songs in mind, but I would like to try to submit to the limit this time around (I believe it's still 5), so this thread was to open up to cover requests (but no concrete promises :P).

So, what would you like to hear on the NES? Can be absolutely anything...

Well, I find that there's a lack of (good) Super Metroid stuff on there. Something like Maridia, Red Brinstar, or Green Brinstar. I'd also like to hear some stuff from Cave Story. Geothermal, Hell, and Labyrinth (Part 2) are great candidates.
