So, in this thread we share our wonderful experiences while operating a motor vehicle. Or, if you ride a bike or walk, share our fantastic adventures avoiding motor vehicles. Do any of you have less patience than I?

Rule #1 of driving: you have to think for the other drivers as well, 'cuz they won't do it themselves.
Nuff said. |

So I should reach over and turn on their turn signals for them? Or how about I just get out of my truck and walk over and tear it off, they won't need it anyway. |

Posted by KP And it's often those expensive cars that never use their turn signals. It's like, they're so expensive they didn't have any money to invest in turn signals. Even better when they're just in front of you and suddenly decide to turn. |

One thing I absolutely detest are the drivers that think they need to provide SIX SECONDS of space between themselves and the car in front of them. In rush hour traffic.
It wouldn't be so bad in regular traffic but two things that make me carry the hate of a thousand suns are the fact that people will often merge into the gap this person created, so the person has to slow down MORE to maintain their gap. And the second thing is, if you get stuck behind one of these old pricks, and you're in a slow vehicle, you can't merge out of their lane because everyone else is going at least 30mph faster than you are. I just want to choke them out. |

Don't get me started on those people that are like all impatient when you block their lane to overtake a truck. It's like they can't wait for five seconds. It makes them look pretty ridiculous on top. |

The other day I could have gotten in quite a bit of trouble, and I realize I shouldn't have done this, but I thought it was still pretty fucking funny so I'll share it.
There was a dude in a convertible (BMW, I think) riding my ass, which I especially don't like since my work truck is a huge 28' box truck. So, I slowed down to like 15 miles under the limit. Mind you, there was no traffic at all. He had to be right behind me, somehow WANTING to eat my exhaust. So he pulls beside me in the next lane and flips me off and speeds away. Then I catch up to him at a red light. What do I do? I go 'Hey, I remember you! You gave me a present" in a satirical tone. Then I reach over and grab my cup of sunflower seed shells and I go "Here's my reciprocal gift." and dump it all over his interior. I could not have felt better than at that moment. |

Indicator failure is one of my biggest annoyances of other drivers. Really, how hard is it to flick that little stick?
And the people who use them wrong at roundabouts. So many times have I had near misses due to it. The world could always use more heroes! |

I like the ones that turn out from a driveway or a side street (while California rolling the stop) and pull right in front of you...in the inside lane. ____________________ Sonnanja, ore no inochi wa toreneena! FFXIV: Jinpu Ishikawa RO2: Kougeki Miwashi Emikoku Steam: Ryudof |

I currently have little experience with driving. I am 16 so I am getting my license as soon as I can.. beginners anyways.. I know from watching though.. my dad always flips out at that as well, in general. I agree though it would be really risky if someone did that pull out shit to me.. |

Well I have a habit of thinking I will be going 120 on an 80.. but thats only if the road is clear.. Just a little fun right? Its illegal but I dont care.. Hopefully I can get my lisence sooner than later?.. I plan on driving in all conditions, so I know what to do. Reversing is my only problem right now.. |

Posted by SenayeThat's also the quickest way to lose a license. You never know when a cop is going to spring up out of thin air. I find I tend to end up spotting a lot of cop cars when I go driving. The world could always use more heroes! |

Actually, at that much over the limit, you'll probably just be arrested for reckless endangerment. And of course lose your driving privileges. ____________________ Sonnanja, ore no inochi wa toreneena! FFXIV: Jinpu Ishikawa RO2: Kougeki Miwashi Emikoku Steam: Ryudof |

Posted by SenayeThere is so much wrong with this I don't know where to begin. I made this thread because of people like you. Do everyone in Europe a favor, don't get behind the wheel. And when you get your license, don't do stupid shit. Posted by SenayeThis is how tragedy happens. Dumb kids behind the wheel taking no thought whatsoever to the safety of themselves and likely multitudes of people. I hear shit like this and I lose it. |

I have to admit I laughed a little when I read that. Dont worry, I dont plan on being reckless and I dont plan on speeding. Its a bad thought, and I can control it.. I know how to drive. In other news, speakin of accidents, I guess there was one somewhere near where I live.. 3 people died and 6 of 7 were ejected. Talk about no seatbelts. :3 |

So how about roadkill, people? have any of you ever hit anything, or come close?
Today I ran over a snake. About 4 years earlier, while on a roadtrip with my sister, I hit a bird and then 2 minutes later, a rabbit. That's all I've ever hit, despite some pretty damn close calls. |
