I've been looking at RO2 here and there, but haven't played it at all yet. It's through Steam, right?


I think RO2 feels like a shadow of the first one. The skills and spells have had a complete overhaul (there are also less to choose from now), the cards now only increase your stats, there are fire/cold/lightning bolt spells but the elemental properties aren't there. They only differ in cast time and power.

And the level cap is set to 50 now. All of these things I dislike, yet I come back for more. Why is that, anyway?

Heh. How many of the Unofficial RO players have you been able to connect with? I bet there are a few out there from our past..

Heh. Sounds about right the last time I played with it. Hopefully they will make it as close to the original as they can over time..
