I've put nine games on my wishlist, & now they have that buy used two games & get one used game free deal. So when I go buy the games I wanna buy this is what pops up, & it hadda happen now when you can buy two games & get one free... -_-

"There was an error processing your order. We apologize for the inconvenience; please check back later."

This been happening all day yesterday too... How can there be an error processing my order? When I bought Need For Speed: Most Wanted Limited Edition for my Nephew from Best Buy, my order went through with no problem at all...

Sorry but I hadda rant, something has to be wrong with GameStop's website, now I'm starting to understand why people hate them. I'll bet when this deal is over then the website will be working...

Why not go to your local Gamestop? I'm pretty sure the store runs the same promotions as the website.

I'm wary about ordering anything from GameStop online... a while ago, I ordered a couple PS2 games with the Buy 2 Get 1 Free, and Grandia III came with only the second disc in a generic DVD case (Valkyrie Profile 2 and Atelier Iris 3 however were perfect)

At least I could get the Grandia III returned in a store and used as credit for Pandora's Tower ;)

The Gamestops near me doesn't have the games I'm lookin' for, yeah I called up the stores they're running the same promotion as the website. Oh, & it gets better... One of the games I wanted to buy are sold out online, I just checked my wishlist.

& I tried to buy the games again, no dice...

The problem here is GameStop.

Maybe Amazon has the game(s) you are looking for and for cheaper.

Maybe a sign to not trade in your games.

I ordered Saints Row 3 the full package on Amazon for $25 factory sealed, I'm gonna roll with them from now on when I'm looking for games, I always thought Gamestop was a better deal cause I always get a discount on used games.

I didn't like the last time I wen to Gamestop, I bought some games like Max Payne 3 & LA Noire & the discs came in paper CD holders, not cool, not cool...

"Discounts" you say?

Sure, let's go to Gamestop and get a -90% discount on a new copy of Xenoblade Chronicles.

Seriously, those fuckers had the gall to buy the reprint of Xenoblade and rip the cellophane off just to call it "used" so they could get around the MSRP.

Now I'm starting to see Gamestop in a different way, here's a video on You Tube of a guy talking about Gamestop, he makes sense...

I stopped buying games from them a long time ago. I picked up a new game off the shelf, but when I took it to the counter to pay and get my NEW copy, the person at the counter opened up a drawer, dug through a stack of discs (none of them in the packaging, just a massive stack of discs), found the one I wanted, and opened up a game box and put it inside. I stopped them right here. FUCK. NO. That is a used game. I want a new one. I was told that's how they secure the games from getting stolen and that it is a new game. I went on to explain that unless I'm the one that initially rips off the plastic and am the first person to touch the actual disc since it left the factory, it's used. No sale. I promptly walked out and ordered it on Amazon.

Gamestop sucks.

I find a lot of retailers will tend to remove them from the packaging. The majority of places here do tend to store them in protective wallets though.

Granted, that tends to be for the games which aren't in the "big new" category.

I've never noticed a retailer do that other than GameStop (although I stopped buying physical copies of games a few years ago haha, gotta love Steam/etc (well, I don't play console games either, so there's that too)).

Quite common over here. In fact, a little bit of googling, and I found the ones we use at work: Link. They do quite a decent job of keeping the discs in good condition while not being as space consuming as full cases.

No matter what they say about it, it's just wrong. How can it be "new" if the customer wasn't the first one to open it?

I suppose then you'd call it like-new. In some cases, there may be signs telling if it's used - Xbox 360 games are one of the best examples of that if you know what to look for. All used discs have a "burn-in" ring from use which confirms that it's been used.

Well, if you're getting somewhere with them, why quit? Seems like you can just reply and tell them what version of browser you're using and that you aren't the dumbass they take you to be and entered everything fine. Just spin the email in a negative irritated fashion (but not over the top) and you will get somewhere.

Well I called 'em, we were on the phone for about 15 minutes & we didn't get anywhere. The person on the other end still assumed it was my end & I told him that when I bought Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, everything went through with no problem.

I wanna show you guys the games I wanna buy, if I can get a better deal at Amazon I'll buy 'em there instead.

Man, I know you can get ME Trilogy for real cheap, for about 15 bucks or so... but at GameStop. You sure they don't have that?

They have the trilogy but for $39.99, I found this bundle for about the same price as buying Mass Effect 2 & 3 separate. I have Dragon Age already I can give that to my Nephew. ^^;
