I think it's odd, they decided to drop "Version" out of the official title this time around. It's just "Pokemon X" and "Pokemon Y"

I've been playing X, myself. Really enjoying it aside from the Exp Share being absolutely fucktarded and Steel losing resistance to Dark and Ghost.

718. GenVI is the smallest pool of 'mons added, though it completely flipped shit around by adding Fairy-type, which changed several Pokemon's types. So I guess that kinda counts as contributions.

It's either this or GTAV and I have neither.

GTA is overrated, imo. Fuck that series.

If you were to count how many new families of Pokémon were added minus legendaries, you'll find the count for Generation IV and VI both come to 31 new families. Gen IV just added a bunch of new evos/pre-evos to pad the number out.. oh, and that really large pool of legendaries.

Why remove two resistances when it only gains one strength?

Honedge is surprisingly squishy given that it suffers every weakness both types have, which doesn't do it any favors given how slow it is.

I just feel like there's too many Pokemon. I felt that way back in the Ruby/Sapphire days. This is just getting ridiculous. I like that only a few were added this time, and now there's this Mega Evolution thing, which kinda gets around adding even more. Because I don't think Mega Evolutions count as extra pokemon, really, since you don't really /keep/ them.

Is that Raichu eating a battery?

Yeah, I guess we're getting to the point were "Got to catch 'em all" can be changed to "If you catch them all you cheated, or have nothing else going for you..". We're almost at 800 Pokémon with this new game.

Probably a total boycott of the series. There's a lot of people who like the later generations of Pokémon rather than the original 151.
