I should, but I'm kinda lazy... so it's all in my "start up" folder.

I usually don't like to have programs start with Windows, even though I usually have a set I open immediately on boot- on those occasions where I do want to just do something quick, though, I don't want to have to wait for Outlook or something to load. (Though I don't use Outlook anymore anyway, I suppose... )

I suppose that's a point.. Then again, I tend to go downstairs or get dressed after inputting my password so I don't end up waiting for programs to open up. <_<

I don't leave mine running. It's hard to sleep over a fan running.

Also, booting up from fresh is nice for getting rid of any memory hogging crap.

Auto-login is cool.

And it reminds me of something silly. There's always a little keyboard icon in the corner of the login screen, even if you're on auto-login. Always. In fact, it's even there during shutdown I think. You don't even get a mouse cursor in those events anyway, so what's up with that?

I am paranoid when it comes to my computer. I always require login at startup. It comes from my Linux days in combo of a trials with asshole family members. I also lock my screens when I walk away from the console (even at home).

I only lock if there's anyone other than family around.

Either way, requires a password on start up.
