I wasn't even aware that Duck Dynasty was a thing until I started working at Walmart, and the merchandise is literally fucking EVERYWHERE.
I seriously find most of the people involved with the show to be unlikable dumb asses. All of their merchandising photos are either stupid grins, smug smirks, or that one guy that constantly gives everyone the fucking stink eye. There are "Christmas themed" throw blankets that are literally the same fucking pictures, but with red shapes just MSPainted onto the normal photography. I got a fairly good look at one of the ones that made the retarded old guy whose catch phrase is "Hey Jack" or something dumb like that with a "Rudolph's nose". I shit you not, all they did was use the fucking circle tool to add a flat red circle to his face. No shading or anything, just a red circle over a stock photo of the guy. The sad part of it? People are eating it up and buying it! I kinda wish that people were dumb enough to just buy pictures of a guy with a beard with slap job additions for "holiday festiveness" because I would be a rich man. The lowest common denominator shit just annoys me. |
