For those who never played this, the rules are simple: play it fair! Take a land, one action per turn, you can do anything you want as long as it doesn't kill the fun!




UPDATED

Basic rules:

  1. All of your countries' action need to be taken within this thread

  2. The game doesn't start until we have at least 6 people play

  3. More rules will be worked out as time goes by. I don't have the time to write them right now, but there won't be too many rules. Keep it simple, stupid principle


There will be rules for terrain types and resources, but not for unit types. As I said in a later post, check the original thread on board2 to see how this game works.
The bigger your land, the harder it'll be to defend, harvest resouces, so don't worry about size, but also don't go and take the rest of the map for you. Common sense applies.

A defined region known by many as a quagmire, Vietghaniraq offers the joys of a paradise for the new rich who on its lakeside resorts where cocaine and underage women are widely available, but funds from this flow to the mountain regions where terrorist factions hide, abusing the difficulty of the terrain and an distrustful local population, upon which numerous dialects and languages exist, with no single one occupying more than one hex. The Grand Republic of Myr is defined in the south eastern reaches of the region. They are isolated from their nearby land-locked neighbors due to mountains. Keep in mind that although there are gonna be rules, some rules won't be there but you'll still be able to do it. They are basic rules. The golden rules still sit atop all of those: if it sounds fun and doesn't kill other people's fun, go for it!

Check the original thread. pieguy's posts are a good example of how not to play, everyone else's are fine.
