I'm still waiting on Bayonetta 2 (I was hoping it'd be out by my 30th birthday but I guess it wasn't meant to be :(), hopefully it doesn't end up cancelled or anything :S

Have any of you heard the rumors of New Super Mario Bros. 3? Oh crap. It will probably just a rehash that will come out on the alleged new handheld and/or home console in a few years.
Personally, I haven't.

But never trust rumours. Nothing is worse than getting hyped all up to find out it's not going to be a thing.

I'm mostly on classic games (corruption) so I don't usually care about them that much. Some Wii U games are an exception, but still...

Also, I agree rumors are pretty much not good*.

*See what happened in the past at Sonic Retro for example.

The games I enjoy the most are ones with more sandbox-styled environments. For some examples - Assassin's Creed, Saints Row, Fallout 3. There's more, but those are the first to come to mind.

I enjoy exploring vast landscapes. And in some cases, shaping it to my will - See Fallout 3 for an example.

I'm quite the opposite, but that's the side effect of mostly living in the "classic" world of classic gaming. >_>

There are also other reasons not worth enough to be pointed out here.

Oh, the classics are good too. But I really do enjoy anything I can go explore. That's the benefit that came from the 3D systems.

And then there's the classic Crash Bandicoot trilogy.

Actually, I have my fair share of sandbox games too, mostly freeware fun. Some of those are Game Maker games/games from GameJolt which are so bad they're awesome.

To give a name, "Gangs of New York" an horrible GTA clone filled with more glitches than you could shake Sonic '06 at, and it's incredibly fun. I really recommend it.

I just don't get around to playing games much anymore. I really want to play SM3DW. I got to play some of it at my brother's. However I usually stick to the 16 bit era when I do sneak a game or too. (My hacking efforts have always been SNES driven so it makes sense)

This is pretty much where I am... so busy now, I don't have as much time for video games like I used to.

I do want a Wii U, but it's hard to justify a system I'll only play once in a blue moon and on my tiny TV... maybe once I move and get a bigger television.

I have less time, but I try to find time to have a session of gaming to help relax and avoid the hellhole called reality.

To be fair, I have a whole load of free time these days, even more than the usual "standards".

That's why I can afford to do all kinds of stuff, mostly playing games and just hanging around on the Internet. :P

Lazyness is a bad thing.

There's something to be said for having at least some members who haven't been on the forum for the greater part of the millennium. :P

Not to mention that fresh blood can bring in new ideas, and that is good, right?

Heh, I wanted to sort of keep it a secret, but I don't think it's worth anymore to be one.
