It was cold and sunny earlier. It then rained while the sun was out.

And it's still cold.

I've knew it all along. Not only it rained all day, but the local weather forecast had the audacity to say it would have snowed on this weekend.

Yes, lots of stuff came down from the sky, but the temperature was over 8°C.
You may guess how well this went.

The weather's gradually recovering, todays 45F (7.2C), which is an improvement at least...

Tomorrow they're forecasting snow, though...

The news report said about the disaster the rain caused, like floods, water going over dams and underpassages becoming swimming pools.

Fortunately we didn't get anything special, and who had snow didn't have much problems.

By the way, still heavy rain at 8*C. Boo.

It's snowing and I like it as much as I predicted! Which is to say, not very much.

*Envy due to me getting only more rain, along the fact I still can't drive yet so there's no reason for me not to want snow.

I don't drive either; honestly I would think snow is more pleasant for the driver than for the pedestrian, as at least it's not blowing in your face :P

Hahaha no. Driving in snow is awful. You can barely get anywhere because you just slide everywhere, and getting through the snow is a major pain. Trust me, when it's white, the last location you'd want to be in is your car.

I've heard snow isn't the best thing when driving, hence I said "along the fact I still can't drive yet so there's no reason for me not to want snow.". :D

Perhaps I'll be more sympathetic to this argument once my toes warm up and dry off. :P

Let's not forget that with heavy rain there's risk for floods and other unwanted problems with driving...

No, that didn't happen that much here, but still...

Actually, I find I don't slide everywhere in the snow. Granted, I've only maybe a week or two's experience from last year.

However, we drive so differently

As for the weather here. Cold, just cold. Nothing else.

Now, it's just cloudy. There is still a lot of rain on the ground, so I'd better watch out for incoming cars. :P

Temperatures have dropped to 24F, and convincing myself to get out of my nice warm bed was a struggle lasting nearly an hour >_>

Today was bad. Then it became better, then the rain disappeared only to come back again.

Thanks to the wind from the Sahara we're still not getting any snow (4°C does not snow).

It went from 25F to 15F. And now there's sleet and snow.

Pretty much everything Epele said now applies here too.

Although it hadn't rained yet I'd expect it might rain in any moment. >_>

Snowstorm today; I believe we're supposed to get 10 inches.

I also wasn't prepared for it at all, when going back to my apartment this morning none of the sidewalks were shoveled at all and the snow was still pouring- and me without a hat and wearing sneakers with holes in them... >_> Thankfully it's a short walk from the train station, and classes are cancelled today :P
