Oh geeze. There's a separate Metro edition of IE?!

I feel like I'm living in the past now.

There's a "metro" Chrome but last I heard it was just a clone of the ChromeOS desktop, not actually a touch-optimized thing.

We have desktop UI where tablet users don't want it. (sort of)

We got Metro UI where mouse users don't want it.

Let's see how this fares up on Windows 9 (yeah >_>).

To be honest, you don't need to touch-optimise anything with enough practice.

I'm fairly good with a touch screen.. I just need to air-dust my sensors out on this thing to recover accuracy.

Windows 8.1U1 is already shaping up to be a significant update on that front, from what I can tell... be interesting to see where this goes.

I think Android devices are quite nice to use. To be honest, the touch controls for it could easily be modified for a mouse user and remain fairly friendly for them to use. Who needs big huge boxes anyway?

I have a Windows 8 tablet that I don't even use nowadays... it was probably a waste of money, though the iPad mini Mary gave me gets some decent use.

I have an Android based tablet. I don't use it much, it gets more use if it's too hot and I'm trying to hide somewhere cooler.

I love how there's the occasional "I like iPad go down Android asdf" while they mostly get the same apps, and they're generally needed for the same things. >_>

Somehow I missed year 2 and landed in year 3. o_O

I'm using my Windows 8 tablet. I keep delaying the update messages for 8.1, but I really like what I've heard about its fixes.

Personally, I'd have the Android versus the iPad. I've messed with both and the former is so much more customizable.
