Lol I have no intention of leaving the monochrome up for much longer. When I get back to my computer I'll disable it. Until than... can anyone figure out the cryptic clues I left behind?

I guess I'll try sum up how this ended up being a thing...

I am a big fan of The Beatles.. ever since I was a kid. So I did a one off transformation of my profile to reflect the 50 years anniversary of the Beatles of Ed Sullivan. I turned every image black and white (statically) with a filter emulating how TVs looked like in the 60's (contrast is a bit stark.. not so bright whites). Also after some though changed the rendering code to show my User Color as grey, and the 'root admin' group name as well. I intentionally left they eyes glowing read in my avatar as in the context of "this is on a '60s B&W TV" that would be horrifying. I was going to keep it for a week and cycle it out...

Also at the same time I was going to remove the phanto event code as to 'normalize' the board code so sometime as to prepare for a software update that is eventually coming.

Those things are all well and good.. but they ended up being merged together. It started when the responses of "Is Emuz up to something?" and "I wonder if he'll turn the board monochrome" that's when things started to happen

Here are the code changes made: First thing that happened is once I got a monochrome filter that worked I applied it to myself. The reaction was "It is spreading", and "I wonder if the Phantos have something to do with this." So.. they now did. I applied the filter to people with the key. I than changed what the Phantos said to reflect being afraid of being eliminated/being harmless. Than to reflect more into The Beatles I changed the output of time to show it as 1964. Finally I set a timer before I left my home to turn on the whole site filter. I only planned to run it for a few hours since... well you know why it slow the fucking board down to crawl.

Now I started to post a few poorly written poetic phrases to try to see if anyone would say one of the key words. If they had I would have also stopped the event (and given out Quatloos)..

Basically... stating the rules. "Why did I change my profile?"
Answer: The Beatles, for the lols, etc

Basically: Early 60's NTSC TVs are low def as they come (short of scanlines) "The one path BS" is actually my layout pic. It's true for phantos, Bob's Burgers, The Beatles (the shirt being warn). The 'recorded for all time' is the Sullivan Performance. "Find the path..blahblahblah" That's again.. if you answer the question, the event is over.

"Ahh yes... the world does show a pattern in the mist. The future is clear than the past in front. Oh, my music memory embeds leads to fear among the fearless. Beings and ends are bittersweet indeed. Seeking shelter among those without the cipher proves no help to them.. Color is becoming a distant memory.. one of the future.. three orbits worth..."

The Monochromatic event is the end of the line for the Phantos. They will now jump to those without the key as a measure to 'hide' or 'protect' themselves. (and it's futile). The last line of this I expected no one would get. It's saying that "You won't see color TV until 1966~1967" It's playing on the TV theme..

"The question doth asked.. What could the association be? Why that question is but a single point branching out.. The Gregorian chart is now showing the path of the break down of tempest's flow. Who knows? Tomorrow never does.. Yesterday and today intersect. The clues are there for the inquisitive minds..

Soon.. darkness will fall.. and the phantos fear will be made actual in a world filled with dreams."

Me. I've used both in my layouts. I've used Phantos even as far back as I1. The reason my Twitter background is a SMB2/USA Allstars 7-1 is because they was my post layout for I1. So I'm/my avatar is the single branching point. 'Gregorian chart' calendar.. shows that the time with our phanto friends is almost up. 'Know knows? Tomorrow never does.. Yesterday and today intersect. The clues are there for the inquisitive minds..' Beatles song titles used to illustrate uncertainty.. and again "Who would like to answer the question?" The last line is related to SMB2/USA being a dreamworld.. and again the fear is of their end...

The first line was about the comment "it's 2064" and that if you set your time to be a four digit year you'll see it's 1964. The next section is about how simple this started and you convoluted it got... heh

'Tick tock.. no color slows the world.' That's my warning. Filtering the whole site slows everything down to a crawl.

That's basically it. The TL;DR version: I did a personal event on my profile; people wondered;I took as many of the suggestions as I could and made them happen.
