The only time I remember using a male bike was the difficulty of trying to get on that, but that was years ago so who knows how it looks like now. >_>

I think the reason "female" bike frames are different was to have something to do with bicycling while wearing a skirt, but I dunno if that's really an issue or just something manufacturers made up to prevent opposite-sex couples from sharing a bike :P
