The FAQ says we get them at 100 posts. I'm nearly at 200, I see no custom title. Kiyoshi at, what, 400? He doesn't have one either (either that or he just didn't wanna add it). It also says 50 posts by day 60, but since the board isn't that old yet I can't say that that's broken. Is the FAQ wrong, or is this a bug?

It's not so much styling the sidebar, but using css to inject a custom title. Nothing wrong for styling it with css as long as it comes from edit profile.

Also, the issue should be fixed now. Try editing away people, report back success and hopefully not failures.

Not to mention, high post count = custom title is a silly concept from the get go. As post count says nothing about quality or activity from any user; It just means they got X posts so far.
Custom titles are pretty much there for the extra fun of it. But honestly, either make only administration able to hand it out or make it available for everyone. :/

And yes I know I side tracked the thread with pointless bickering, but that's just how I am.

The former option would make the board feel a bit like Jul an elitist club or something. The latter option kinda takes the fun out of it, if everyone can have it, you may get noobs abusing it or something... Actually, I don't know how to put it. While I'm not really for giving custom titles to everyone, I can't think of a good reason for the minimum postcount either.

As for the extra linebreak under your username, if it really bugs you that much, you can always remove it with CSS...

I agree with Green-Kirby, here. I've always been for custom-titles from the get-go. They're just there for fun, and only giving them to staff does give off an assholish elitist vibe. I can see why you'd want to set it to posting more so you can get em, that gives you a prize if you're active and post, but I personally don't see it as THAT big of a prize.

To be perfectly honest, on that argument is practically in favor of allowing low-post types to use CSS if they want... after all, a spambot or an idiot probably won't figure out how to do it anyway. :P
