Yeah, I did that, and more, for my AcmlmBoard. I have random battles, "arena fights" that let you skip a random battle and go back and fight it later, and even a rather basic PvP.
I never got to do that. But eh, I didn't post much on your board.

The biggest PvP battle feature was the one on TEKHacks. Despite it being very unbalanced...

I don't remember PVP at TEK Hacks. But I didn't really do much with the RPG side of that place. My RPG obsession didn't start until long after TEK died.

We still have the RPG system that @Acmlm was working on, as well as one someone else put together (but it's more or less not a right fit.) Acmlm's actually was a client/server based implementation and would have been interesting.

At this point there are so many other things in the board that need work it's pretty much on permanent idle.

Yeah. It were there. I remember it.. all the paladins.. and so few other classes.. It were so badly balanced, that everyone just picked the Paladin class in it. There was only one way to beat someone for a while - which was get lucky.

Everyone pretty much used the same set of crap. It wasn't exactly the best set though. >_>

If you picked a Mage class, you were guaranteed to lose. ;)

Looking at the theme.. I'm reminded of later side-boards which supported coloured numgfx. They were just the same original numbers, recoloured though. ;)

I don't know what this was, but if I can pin-point it, I will say... I love this layout. Maybe Dani should try taking over a lot more. (Unless there was another...and I believe there was a Danielle that's not the one here..) In which case, she should join and then proceed to take-over Kafuka.
