I did that and uh.. I bluescreened and never got the number. :P

I also remember when enabling AIM forced the ICQ icon to appear.. Glad they changed that.

I never had ICQ, just AIM.

I remember non-Americans tended to hate AIM for some reason and prefer things like MSN.

At one point, I actually did have all four of the big messengers (AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo) but I later stopped using them one by one, finally discontinuing AIM in 2012 ;) (I stopped using ICQ in 2005, I believe) Nowadays, I tend to just stick with Tumblr/Twitter/IRC/etc.

I still use AIM for a few people. The MSN/WLM might be the next one I retire, as would the Y! one.

I tend to use Steam for a lot of messaging these days. Shame it lacks logs. :|
