Yep.

In real life, I moved to Seattle and turned into a girl, and I now work as a college math tutor. But I still remember ye olde Acmlm's.

Mesia, you should come around more often~

I agree, we would enjoy having your company, even if it is more occasionally, that's better than not at all. :)

Sweet! Yeah, I miss the old Acmlm's and think back on the good old days quite frequently. Miraged Discussion was fun, too, albeit short-lived...

Thanks for welcoming me back T_T As long as Emuz and I are connected, I'll probably continue to make occasional visits to the board.

Too bad I can't find my old layout, or else I could really make the nostalgia rush complete.

This? I don't know if it's the latest, but I found the wayback machine useful :)

Now that I'm looking at some of your screen names, some of you used to hang out at Tek Hacks back in the day right?
Yes. I was indeed at TEKHacks back in the day. That's about the furthest back in my Acmlmboard history that I personally go.

I still remember the poorly balanced battle feature on there the most though~

Mesia - It's good to see another old name. :)

Yep, I was at TEK Hacks as well. I used to moderate their craziness board.

I was a member of TEK myself, but I don't seem to remember it well...

Coming from the Sonic community, I constantly got fed up at people always trolling others (I remember a guy named Gerbil, sure he was good at ROM hacking tools/etc. but he was a bit of a jerk IMO), some were just too annoying for me to tolerate (there was too much perversion in the Sonic community), and overall, I was glad to have left :P

10 years ago was right at the end of my GunBound addiction, to be replaced by twilightRO soon after ... I was spending more time in there than on my board (which had just been wiped), at least I was still on IRC :P

This was also when I still lived with my grandparents and was in the middle of university, and had just turned 20 the previous year ... just going to my old room whenever I visit them again (like on Easter recently) brings back memories :)

I was entering middle school. Or to be more accurate, I wasn't even there yet.

I don't remember much of that time, but I was mostly making shitty webpages using Word2000 and its selection of background images that made shit unreadable. Or making useless programs in VB6.

Oh gods.. I remember when they were "teaching" us to make websites using Microsoft Word..

Gods. They looked awful, and the html output was awful too. The only advantage is they were print-read webpages.

I manually fixed the HTML to one page where it output it wrong, and most people didn't realise I even did it. >_>

Although, they kinda figured it out once they noticed the notepad window.

I had a class where we learned how to use FrontPage to make sites. We got more points for using the weirdest possible fonts, colours, and backgrounds <_< >_>

Classes on web design, I used to think.. "Why?" all the time.

Heck, one college activity club. They told us to make a web page using provided programs.

My programs of choice? Notepad, Paint and Calculator. Calculator for the purpose of quick decimal to hex conversions. Needless to say, I attracted a bit of attention with my natural site-coding abilities.

I have an old copy of DreamWeaver around (I believe 2004 or 2005?) but nowadays I prefer to just use some type of standard text editor (like Notepad++, Crimson Editor, etc.) ;)

Eh, I'm really oldschool. I just use regular Notepad. You know. That one bundled with windows.

Really I rarely to straight HTML anymore. It's a dying art. I use Sublime Text for all my code editing. Good syntax color support as well a large amount of expandability via python.

Eh, HTML used to be simpler. Not all this CSS and scripting required for every site.

I hand type it using HTML and CSS. That's how I was taught how to do it, although I probably should research newer material..
