I wonder if the cartridges still work? I wouldn't be surprised, as nothing can really kill those old Atari game consoles and cartridges  James Rolfe (the Angry Video Nerd) is coming out with a movie based on the story of ET for the Atari, and I can't wait to watch it too (always was a fan of the AVGN, heh)"Miracles happen, when you believe..."

I always assumed it was a urban legend with a hint of truth. Just a little exaggerated.

I've never heard of this, but It's cool to know where Atari's went. I always thought they were worth money since they were one of the first video gaming inventions ever. I guess all the copies they made deducts price still today...especially since they are trashed.  |
