The only problem is if it loses creativity like New Super Mario Bros. 2.
Thats why you make the game the same length, but have more acts. 10 acts, put 20 stars in each. and have 300 secrets.

I like how you typed one of the easiest GTA codes there are. Also, cool. First..

GTA? Isn't that the beginning of the Konami Code, from NES games like Gradius and Contra?

I thought it refers to the KCS places, since Gohan has beaten @"GtGywall" twice?

Yup. The code's famous enough to get references elsewhere too. Hell, it's even referenced in an anime.

I coulda swore I used those exact movements on the d-pad to do something in GTA, San Andreas I think it was. Then again maybe I am wrong. Although I remember using that code for something. Very easy one to remember.

May be possible. Some games still use the Konami code these days, even if it's just a nod to it.

The Disney-Pixar movie Wreck-it Ralph uses the Konami Code as King Candy's way to access the source code for Sugar Rush, as well ;)

A Banjo game? What is that, some kind of rhythm series?

Hey, this is the first time I came in first place. o_O

I have never played Banjo before, but I have heard that the Banjo series has some nice sandbox gaming.

I remember the early 2000s was a bad time for Nintendo (there were a lot of games originally slated for GameCube by Rareware, Sucker Punch and others... Banjo-Threeie, Kameo, a Rocket: Robot on Wheels sequel, etc. but Rareware was bought by MS, SP by Sony, and various third parties ditched Nintendo or didn't return after the N64)

I guess that's why the Gamecube sold so badly. <_<

I have seen archives of people discussing rumors of a two-disc pack for the GameCube consisting of Luigi's Mansion 1 and Super Mario Sunshine. And there was also discussion on Super Mario 128.

It's too bad that such a great console such as the GameCube didn't really sell well.

There's a bit of a self-poke from Rare in the form of a "Check back in 2018" referencing the delay between Banjo-Tooie and Nuts&Bolts. It's seen in-game. I might dig it out and make a screenshot.

I remember it being big news in the teenage Nintendo fanboy community when MS bought Rare. Wonder if it did end up hurting the GC quite a bit.

It probably did. Nobody ever mentioned Starfox Adventures in the graphical arguments. Did people boycott the one and only Rare-made title on the GC?

It remained more graphical than a lot of titles after it, including the majority of titles on the "more graphical" Xbox and PS2.
