I just noticed the "Kitty says: Meow" right now ;) I remember looking on the I1 archives back in the day, and people would abuse HTML a lot :P (namely Blink, Marquee, absolute position, etc.)

Ah, but they did make it way easier to use all sorts of images in layouts, even if they didn't stretch well :P
Not to mention how it didn't need to get repeated, causing a bunch of garbage happening with your layout.

And I thought my eye sight was bad. You guys must have very awful eyesight, because I don't even need to glance or squint for a moment to know the texts is a dark purple. The blue elevates it.

I sit at an angle, and my screen is angled. So essentially, the colours I see aren't always what they really are. Not that I care.
