I've been a fan of Alanis Morissette since 1995, actually :D I grew up on Alanis, The Cranberries, Sarah McLachlan, Paula Cole, etc... the mid-90s were a great time for feminist music ^_^

Yeah. I get confused for that reason. I'm inclined to think DD/MM instantly.
