Layout shamefully copied from Jul (Which itself has parts "based" on HH's Incarnation 3 layout), except for some fixes made to adjust to my Kafuka userid. Also, a new "Profile" hover text.

It's nothing really special. It's just a table with links and CSS hell.

The "original layout" (before it was edited at BMF's request) was quite different.

Mainly it looked better, but it was such a waste of screen space with excessive (50px! vs 5 px) padding and bigger fonts left over from when I used Fixedsys that when BMF used his mobile device to browse Jul my layout made the page scroll horizontaly (a bad thing). :/

One day, I may get to add some bitmaps too (and I'll probably make the classic mistake of the first revision of this layout.

In any case, I only want to have a stable layout for a while (maybe the links will change but oh well). So far so good.

No not really. The bitmaps would be used for special effects with borders.

If I can take it into a step further I'll try making a small bitmap on the right of the table, but that could be a potential waste of screen space.

Last view: 423 days 		Been trying to change the layout abit. Since my last one was made by Elemi, I had no idea howto make one lol.

So ive been trying to get it right by looking at the code they provided me. Here is attempt 1.

Stuff left to do:
-make the SMW underground img apply tot he topbars and sidebars.
-make text shadow or a box so text wont be unreadable due to the image on the right.
-make layout stretch to fit all the post area (dunno how :/ )

The streching to fit the entire post box is a small thing. In your main bar add

min-height: 250px;


That should fix that. :)

As for the text box and stuff, maybe I could help.

Alright... so.. I guess this is the first time I have a total layout to show.

I based the initial concept off the one I had in I1 that Acmlm made for me.

The background layers are from SMAS, as is fitting for me..

The base background is the twinkling stars from SMB1's night stages. The forground is the castles from SMB2/USA World 7.

The side bar image is my avatar as it's been for a while now. Currently she's wearing a shirt that says "Tesla-Chu vs. Plusdison". They key of course.. now worn as a neckless.. and in her hands.. Toukijin. (If you have been around during the tRO days this will be familiar..)

There you have it. :P

Hee hee. I've had too many different user IDs over the years...interestingly my PureZC ID (1045) was pretty close to my Jul ID (1041).

Now I'm 81, which is a pretty cool number. It's 3 to the 4th power.

My ID here is 101, which is commonly used for the basic/entry level college classes :P (although 100 is also common, and some classes even have 090 or similar) I don't even remember most of my old IDs, heh (don't really pay attention myself :P)

In order to test the per-user color feature I came up with the idea of using the 'Luigi" version of the Root Admin Male color. It's the green shade of the same color:
