Looks like two Pokemon games from the GBA are getting a revamping with Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire.

I expected a remake of Ruby and Saph as they have been releases reduxes inbetween the main games. I think they are going X&Y style gameplay for the region. Maybe they will even go back to old regions? (I doubt it, but I'd love to hit the other areas in 3D too)

You know, it'd be cool to transfer your old Ruby starter from 2002 into an OmegaRuby file in 2015 ;) (amazingly, the Pokémon structures are still compatible, 12 years later :P)

I mean as in the structure. The biggest change was between Gen II and Gen III where the whole structure changed, new values added, and so forth.

People also say old 2D Marios were good and there is complaining in the New Super Masio Bros. series. So yes, old can get old.
