So, what are some of your favorite anime series?

- Neon Genesis Evangelion: probably my all-time favorite, I've watched it at least 20 times from start to finish if not more :P first got into it around 1999 or so ;)
- Sailor Moon: perhaps the first anime I ever watched, around 1997 or so... a good gateway anime for anyone who wants to try it :D
- InuYasha: remember this would always come on right after Naruto back in the day, wasn't fond of Naruto but loved InuYasha ^_^ always a good starter anime
- Chobits: probably one of the cutest anime I've watched, it's especially funny :P (my favorite episode is the "pantsu" one ;))

I used to tape anime religiously from Cartoon Network, etc. back in the day :D (back when I had dialup and couldn't torrent or afford to buy DVDs ;P)

My favorite anime series is Vandread. Always will be. I watched it all on Netflix a couple years ago... I miss it.. One of my favorite theme songs named "Himegoto"

Also Xenosaga was a cool anime.., never finished it though.

I actually became a fan of Death Note in college. Nothing like having a dozen frat boys crowded into your room marathoning the series. Good times.

DBZ was to us in the 90s as Naruto is to the turds of the 00's. And Sword Art Online is to this decade. It's a shame SAO is garbage though.

Not really. It starts off with that feeling at the very beginning because Monty Oum was a huge weeb, but then it sort of gets this punk rock vibe with fun fights. By the time you really get attached to the characters...that's when they pull back the curtain and shit gets real.

Plus, you can watch it all for free online. Give it a watch.

Sometime last year I watched Kill la Kill, pretty awesome anime :) I'd highly recommend that one (sadly I'm not that much into anime anymore :P)

I love the DBZ abridged series. Fantastic stuff. I highly suggest watching Team Four Star's take on DBZ.

I recently watched the Code Geass abridged. Loved it. I've never seen the actual anime tho.
