lets move this topic away from games that dont exist

sonic CD is a pretty dope game. i'm sad I never had a sega cd in my youth
I got the recent PC remake version myself (despite having the original in disk image form) and I must say it's a pretty solid remake. It includes both the Japanese and American soundtrack which is a nice bonus (I personally use the Japanese one).

TBH though, most Sega CD titles was kind of forgiveable being part of the mid 90's interactive movie fad. If more games was less about cutscenes and more like Sonic CD who knows. The mild reception of SegaCD was the whole reason Nintendo dropped the SNES CD addon afaik.

the sega cd version of streets of rage was pretty awesome i remember playing it once. at least i think it was a sega cd version.

but yeah the sega CD is laughable when you look back on it but i'm sure there's some really awesome gems.

Whoo, five dollars for a game I already own three hard copies of (despite NONE OF THEM WORKING ANYMORE. Freakin' computers and their updating). *sighs and takes it like a bitch, buying another* At least Sega realizes they can still make money off of good things.

Also Stark, that's totally my favorite Fire Emblem game so far. I haven't beaten it yet, but I'm lovin' it.

Ike is hotter though

I think the Sega CD Streets of Rage was part of the Sega Classics collection? I know we had it, it also had Shinobi, Columns, and I think Golden Axe.

Still playing Soul Calibur 5.. Although, it helped me diagnose another case of 360controller-suicide..

Both sticks constantly inputting a small amount of direction to the left in their neutral position cost me a fair few rounds of combat.

Also, anyone got a x360 & a copy to play it with me? >_>

Kicking back and forth between DQM: J2 and Kirby Mass Attack.

DQM is pissing me off because of dumb little changes they made to the synth recipes for monsters... Before, to get a King Slime, all you had to do was chain synth a bunch of normal slimes (two generations, which is eight to make one), but now they make you synth two Behemoth Slimes, which is difficult to do.

See, each time you scout a monster successfully, your chances of scouting again decreases dramatically. Why? I wish I knew, because it pisses me off that I spent my perfect and near-perfects on level 1 Slimes, only to have nothing come of them.

Another thing, now that I have my King Slime, I have to grind to get him caught up to my Boreal Serpent. Easier said than done, despite the fact that the slime family grows so much faster than dragons. Their levels may be similar (22 for Kingoo [King Slime, ~13k exp] and 24 for Pangora [Boreal Serpent, 45k exp]), their stats are far from anywhere near each other... Which is odd since Kingoo is a Rank C (+4) with middling stats, compared to Pangora being a Rank E (+3) with phenomenal stats.

Grinding isn't easy, either, anyone here with Dragon Quest knowledge knows that. Metal Slimes are a bitch to kill before they run away, even with the new items they added to aid in killing them.

As for Mass Attack... I'm still getting used to it. Not sure if I like it that much, though. It feels too much like Canvas Curse, only marginally more playable.

I've been playing a shitload of Halo Reach and a bit of Bastion. Kinda hard to justify all this game playing though with all of the IRL shit I have to deal with, but I find some time for it.

On Halo Reach, I play with my little brother. I like to play Team Slayer and build forge maps. My hope is to build one that gets featured on Achievement Hunter's "Achievement HORSE" series that plays every Wednesday.

Ys Book I & II and Baten Kaitos.

In Ys I just beat a boss in the final dungeon. A praying mantis.

In Baten Kaitos I'm trying to work on the SP combo list.

I think my 3DS' charger melted.

I hate technology. I guess this means I'm stuck with Minecraft again.

Twilight Princess. I'm reaching the final chapters. One heart piece to go, and it's in The Palace of Twilight on the second side, which I left in the middle of to waste rupees so I could fit the orange rupees I keep finding in my already full Giant Wallet.

Went and filled my small quiver with arrows, filled my not-Fairy Tear bottles with blue potion and capped out my bombs at Malo Mart in Castle Town before taking on both tiers of the STAR game to get both quiver upgrades. After that, I went to the Cave of Ordeals and did pretty damn well until the last two rooms, which started kicking my ass for the dumbest reason.

I wound up being used for the Darknuts to play a good old fun game of Hacky Hero. I wound up using up all of my rupees to the Magic Armor, my rare chu jelly and Fairy Tears to take them all out. The prize? A SINGLE BOTTLE of Fairy Tears... Not worth the trouble...

As for the poe quest, since its reward is pretty stupid, I dunno if I'll track down the last twenty or so poes. Even if it means not getting essentially infinite Magic Armor use.

Picked up my 3DS for something to do before bed.. Super Pokémon Rumble. Managed to get past a section I couldn't before.. Now stuck again. Need to keep getting stronger Pokémon.. haha.

Really defines grinding at times.

Mass Effect 3. Yep, already playing it. In my head. I am that excited.

Really though, I have been playing the shit out of Halo Reach. Keep getting my ass kicked, but a good match every once in a while keeps my morale up enough to keep playing it. Once ME3 comes out though, Reach is gonna get dropped like a brick.

Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride. I'm about six hours in, and just getting to Coburg to save it from the fake queen. I decided to use a few cheats built into my r4 for the game to get casino tokens to get a Metal King Sword for my hero and a Gringham Whip for Harry. Technically, I could have those weapons legitly if I wanted to grind gold or play the slots, but fuck that. I currently have four monsters in my team, a Slime (go figure), a Brownie, a Dracky (:D), and a Rotten Apple. I think this may have been the game to spawn the monsters spinoff series. Just a hunch.

About last two months Ive been ''trying'' multiple games, rather then completing one game.
On advice of a friend I bought Saints Row 2, three days ago. -Haven't seen much of Saints Row 2 yet, but the feature to change your look is awesome. You can probably make some of the clothes look a way you wouldn't find in real life.

I ve bought multiple cheap games. Before Saints Row 2, three days ago I tried Motorstorm Apocalypse. A while ago I played both Ace Combat 6 and Stoked: Big Air Edition. Earlier I was playing both Nail'd and Sonic Colours.

Stoked: Big Air Edition was, or is quite interresting since its my first snowboarding gametitle. -My friend who adviced me to try Saints Row, told me Saints Row The Third to be less, therefore I bought the second game of the serie.

Been spending the past few nights trying desperately to beat Ninja Gaiden on the original NES. I beat Metroid and Zelda 2, might as well beat ANOTHER difficult game, right?

*laughs maniacally*

Oh my GOD it's driving me mental. I got to the final boss twice. FUCK THAT GUY. FUCK HIM AND HIS SENDING YOU BACK MAGICAL POWERS. If he didn't do that oh my god it'd be so much smoother.

Currently playing a mixup between Super Pokémon Rumble - which I've now entered the end-game stuff.. and then The Sims 3 - which feels like an addictive drug to me. A fun one at that.

Multiple friends have suggested Skyrim, so I bought it.

And my last couple of weekends seemed to just vanish into thin air...

Skyrim: The new free time assassinator.

It's even got replay value, to make things worse. >_>

I backseat played a bit of Dead Island yesterday, a small (no progress at all) amount of Paper Mario, and dinked around a bit in Brawl... I still need to finish Twilight Princess, though. :/
