What a sarcastic title. You know what's better? Forgetting something you were thinking about literally a few second before you forgot it. This hasn't happened to me right now, but it still annoys me when I can't remember things all of a sudden. >_<

That's OS, so Software.

The best upgrade failure was my phone firmware. The USB controller decided to disconnect my phone during the upgrade. So yeah, I ended up with a firmware-less phone. (Granted, my phone has an emergency boot-to-recovery mode making it hard to brick up that way)

You guys and your new-fangled Blu-ray players and smartphones with upgradeable firmware, I came from the days of VCRs and brick phones that don't have or need firmware upgrades :P (hell, I hardly ever bother with BIOS upgrades or similar, heh)

I like firmware upgrades where the primary goal is better battery management, thus lasts longer.

I still have my VCR below the TV. Ah, geez. Reminds me to get something decent to record all my VHS tapes to PC. But I won't be content with some half-assed quality. No, I want it to be very good.

Can't afford it right now, though. But my VHS tapes were in surprisingly good shape when I last watched them. Only a few had those well-known image artefacts they usually get.

I also have VHS's for the kids movies I watched as a child. I used floppy discs or disks or whatever and cassettes.

All you need to do is hit it with your shoe. Okay? Also they don't sting you until they know you're a threat They land very frequently so you'll have multiple opportunities to kill it... are you allergic?

It doesn't really hurt... it just pinches and stings for the moment. I got stung multiple times as a child, once in the back of the leg right on the crease where your knee bends.
