Well, it depends... if you go on a busy day (like I usually do) they often let people bypass the body scanners and just use the metal detector.

...Of course, you'd think busy days would be when you'd want the most security... >_>

I can think of legitimate reasons for low-resolution, blurry, oversaturated body scans.
I had a lot of x-ray scans when I was a child.

For the sharpness and crispness that they have now, I can only think of 2 reasons.
Perversity, and profit for the companies making these.

I can understand HAVING the body scanners but that... That's just stupid. You're wasting a large amount of time, patience, and money on your own perverted desires. Airport security sometimes really bothers me. Of course, it's not only the US, and I understand the need for it, but still....

That's just someone abusing their power, and could also be someone whom is entirely too easily offended. The answer: It would make life suck, but wouldn't leave people room to make these types of complaints if everything were strictly business. Don't say anything to the passenger or agent unless asked a specific question relating to the task at hand.

Actually, I don't. Of course airports need security, but it's been proven that smuggling weapons past what you have in the US right now is very possible. Furthermore, things like this only cut back on privacy without any pay off. If people wanted to hi-jack an airplane it would very well be possible to do it right now as is. :/
