This really isn't my idea, but it's an interesting idea so I am going to give it a try here.

The idea is to occasionally post how the weather is in your area.

Welp I'll start

It's currently 28˚F here in Akron. We had our first real snow on Tuesday so it's a bloody mess. Snow hits.. people go nuts. :)

Over here, it's mostly windy.. and rainy.

I've heard of several trees blown over as a result of the wind too. One on Tuesday meant the train I took home from my driving theory test had to take an alternative route.

There was a storm with the same name as me today and yesterday, still raging on actually.

No snow but i'm not sure if that's good or bad. Snow tend to be nice the first few days, then annoying the rest of the winter. :P

it's cold as shit. felt like 10˚f this morning. it's like 27˚ now.

some guy at the bagel shop told me we're due for 5 feet of snow in new york this year and that he bought a 4x4 on craigslist just in case. claims that he reads the farmer's almanac so he knows, but isn't sure that the 4x4 can handle 5 feet of snow.

I have to say, it's been slick too. The fact the temperature is fluctuating back towards warn in the day, and back down to freezing is making the melting snow pockets of black ice. Not fun

Last view: 4198 days 		We've been having 70~100mph winds in Scotland, which is the first time ever. It was scary at first but, thankfully, no major damage has been caused in my area.

Normally our gales are 40mph. Up in the highlands, speeds of 120mph were recorded. o_O

Welp it's 31˚F today. It's supposed to get warmer later on this week. Which is nice. (However my travel to work today is going to be black ice filled I would guess)

Jet Wow. I think 50~60mph winds are the most I've personally experienced and only in gust.

Last view: 265 days 		33 °F (1 °C) right now. We have had about 6" of snow total this year so far, including one freak storm in mid-October that gave us 4" of it. Take that one out and it's been a freakishly warm and rainy winter. Even the October storm's snow melted in about a day. There's a small coating of dust that's been lingering because it got cold this week, but it'll be near 50 again soon enough.
