Oh my, an evil twin to another thread. Who would've thunk it?

Anyway, let's talk about those minor annoyances in your life, the kind of things that keep repeating and could really bring half your goddamn day down.

Not the kind on the internet though, that's just asking for trouble. Unless it's something about your shitty connection or something meta like that.

For me, it's gotta be that thing where my next door neighbor sometimes leaves his radio playing in the night, while he sleeps. That's bad enough on its own, but if I so much as tap the wall between us when I turn in my sleep, he'll snap awake and aggro.

That's a pain. I sometime hear next door's dog putting its paws to the wall.. but I can ignore that.

One thing that does rattle my sanity is those people who go to a "self service" in a store and demand the busy at the time operator does it for them. Especially when that operator is me. :/

Customers feel entitled to bullshit. That's why I don't work in a store no more. That, and I didn't get paid for working there, but that's a whole nother story ;)

I remember when I worked at Lowe's as a cashier, they would always have me on self check-out, but I would never have anyone retarded enough not to know how to use it until I was on a real register for a Code 3 (more cashiers needed on register), then I would have to scramble over to override the machine, while they proceeded to do every mother fucking thing POSSIBLE to make my life a living hell trying to get them out of the store... All the while, trying to remain respectful and cheery to avoid my boss breathing fire down my back for being "unpleasant."

With my current job, the only thing that comes as an inconvenience is when I'm doing my cleanup of the display room and restroom... Because we could be dead the entire night until I decide to clean, then lo and behold a customer comes in right as I grab the goddamn broom.

I know that pain. Except, I have to go over to the machine due to the lack of an override machine where I work. Combine that with people who come shopping and don't actually even know any English despite living in the country. That one's probably more painful, since it's just impossible to explain to them.

Argh.

These people ruin a good mood whenever I hear them. Get that ethnic crap out of my shopping experience. I don't want to hear the latest about the Mexican drug runs.

(It DOES count as an inconvenience if it makes you want to stop and strangle them, right? They're not tourists; they need to learn the goddamned language of their country of residence.

And no, that doesn't mean "make Spanish an official language of the United States". Fuck off, government.)

People who tell others that they're "just wrong". As in, I have an opinion, you have an opinion, and you tell me mine is "wrong". No, it's an opinion. They can't be wrong. It's ESPECIALLY aggravating when it's not an opinion, but a fact, and they're so adamantly stubborn that they stop giving reasons why they're correct and just pull out the "you're wrong and I'm right" method. If anyone says those words to me, it's pretty much a berserk button (it's perfectly fine if you give reasons, like "No, you're wrong, cause they just disproved that theory recently, see?")

I hate it when I'm walking outside with my mom and she goes mad at me because I'm 3cm before her. DONT WALK BEFORE ME ITS LIKE YOU ACT LIKE YOU DONT KNOW ME ITS EXTREMELY UNPOLITE!!!!!1!111 >_<

She does that every damned time. Good thing we're not going to places where I could meet friends.

Seriously, it's not like I'm doing that on purpose. I'm about 15cm taller than her, and I naturally walk fast. And when I walk with someone I try to walk slower to not get too far away from them. This works fine with everyone, except my mom who has to bitch for 2cm every damn time.

Been dead at work as far as hours go the past couple of weeks, but this week is the week I need to get my truck up to safety & emissions standards and I end up getting a ton of hours. I am dead tired. All I wanna do is hack SMB3, guys.

SMB3 would be nice. Someone we could all work on to get our minds off the 'little inconveniences'..

Ouch man. I used to dislike having to cycle to work in heavy rain when I lived further away from where I worked. Although, I'd chicken-shit it in a thunderstorm and get a taxi.

Another inconvenience is a certain key and a certain lock at work. The key works fine in the other 11 locks it works for.. Just one it gets stuck in. I've fallen on my ass so many times while trying to pull the key back out.. since when it unsticks, it tends to come out rather quickly and unexpectedly. :/
