I apparently forgot to mention this, but I beat Zelda 2 on my original NES for the first time in my life legit. Twice.

I played Gamemode+ just to see what it was about. Same game, I was just all leveled up already so I got through it in 1/4 the time. That game is drastically overhated, let me tell ya. I loves it. Hard as fuck though.

I also kinda wish my battery pack in it still freaking worked.

There's a specialty gaming store near me that will replace the internal battery in games. I know this because I mentioned my Pokemon Silver was dead, and the owner offered to fix it for me.

Maybe you can find a place where you're at.

Finished Twilight Princess without collecting all of the poes, I had 57 before saying "fuck it."

For a four phase final boss, I must say that it was very anticlimactic. Puppet Zelda was a lame energy tennis rehash, Beast Ganon was 'meh' at best, the horseback segment was annoying, and the final showdown was a joke. Biggest. Letdown. EVER.

I was in a Skype call with Aesur while I was playing it... To keep it interesting, I kept making stupid joke references to things that were relevant in some way or another.

Still kinda playing Halo Reach every now and then. Paused to play some Mass Effect 3 demo, which was quite interesting since I've never played as FemShep before. I like her. I might go through the trilogy as FemShep when I'm through with #3 as the original. I haven't really played the multiplayer yet, and I don't think I'm relaly that interested. Halo Reach is really the only online multiplayer game I've put any kind of time into; and I'm finally starting to get better at it. I like not being totally shitty at games, but it takes some effort to be any good at one when compared to some of those more hardcore gamers.

Cave of ordeals was probably the most memorable challange in Twilight Princess. Sadly it feels like that boses in games nowadays aren't hard enough or is just put in a awkward and unnecessary way (Hello Deux Ex: Human revolution).

Twilight Princess was the start of the "I-lose-steam" era of games for me, I believe.... Zelda gaming wise at least. I lost steam at Hyrule Castle and stopped playing. This was, like, back when it first came out, so it's been a while. Same thing happened with Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks. I get to play Skyward Sword so RARELY I can barely even tell if the same thing is happening to it.

I found Twilight Princess more of a drag than lose steam game. Mostly due to the overly large dungeons. I swear some of the field maps were smaller than single dungeon rooms at times.

Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride... I think I'm getting close to the end, since I'm getting close to the second time skip.

My wife (Nera) just got kidnapped by the fake chancellor of my kingdom... What is it with the theme of royal corruption in this game, anyway? Or how about the fact of the big reveal of being the long-lost prince of the fucking place to begin with?!

Sorry for the spoilers to anyone who wants to play this game and hasn't yet.

Just started two new games this Friday. My friend wanted to see how to actually play Majora's Mask without failing, and afterward I wanted to play a little Banjo Kazooie. As of last night, I was at Great Bay Temple and Click Clock Wood, respectively. Both play throughs are basically practice runs for LPs.

Click Clock Wood's not too bad for a run. I'd be at Mad Monster Mansion since I keep forgetting where things are.. or stop to read the Grunty-Rhymes. >_>

Currently for me: The Sims 3 still

To be fair, I skipped Rusty Bucket Bay. I got two jiggies, nearly lost ALL my lives, and said "fuck it".

That level is pure evil.

Fair play. It's still a bastard in the XBLA edition. Engine room specifically.

Yeah, that's the one that killed me three times. I had one life left by that point so I said "SCREW IT, movin' onto Click Clock Woods!" Then I died there too so I decided to take a break from the game. I may return to it tonight or tomorrow, depends on how busy I am.

Fuck those fans, man.

A Link to the past.

Been watching speedruns of it, figured I should finally finish it (I got to about 70% through the game last time). Seems like a fun game to speedrun too, which I might do after I 100%'d it.

I bought a portable SNES clone of dubious build quality and am currently using it to play Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels. I am dying quite often. :P

The only problem I had with Rusty Bucket Bay was its lack of safe places to exist.

If you don't mind grinding for lives.. and practicing/learning where everything is.. It's not so bad.

The XBLA edition of the game softens the difficulty so much as once something's collected, it stays collected. Still hate the water though.

As for what I'm playing. Picked up Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 to play with friends to be sociable.

I don't know why I waited so long to start playing The World Ends With You.

It's everything I've ever wanted out of a DS game.

Touching my untouched in a while games a little.

Played a little bit of No More Heroes 2. Mostly kicking bosses which kicked my cousin's ass. (Which is amusing considering he set it to the easiest difficulty)

I played some Super Mario Galaxy yesterday, I got a few stars and 'finished' a few galaxies, like Freezeflame and Dusty Dune. I think my star total is 60 now.
