Hmm? Did I get it wrong? I know that ||bass/FreeDOS implemented protection based on either a sex value or a pow level thus giving owners protection. (They could have done the old style if $user == 1 set $pow == 3 bit that Acmlm and I had for a while though. Though I wasn't around during this time so my information is second hand. I didn't read the code all that long for this period either...

Any kind of owners protection is in the same line, but not nearly as advanced as a true root which was spec'd out during ABXD in the Acmlm world.

So with the full thoughts of my reasoning, what was it that I got wrong?

So Acmlmboard 1.A had a demoting protection? That does seem a bit like a Root Owner powelevel.

Actually the first 'root like' level was in 1.A something. It wasn't a true root, just protection from being removed. Kawa and ABXD solidified the concept before it showed up in 2.5+. :) Acmlmistrator eh?


Maybe you should change Acmlm's powerlevel to "THE KING" or something?
