For the Last Posts, I was thinking about being able to toggle to show only new posts and threads that have new posts, and also to show only posts you made.

That would involve modifying the delete post feature a bit. But that's a fair suggestion actually.

This is something minor, but shouldn't frank.php not generate the rankings with a white font color so that the font color is the same as a user's layout? I'm not sure that's so easy to fix beyond encouraging people who can post the rankings to style tables in their CSS... |

A simple solution would be having users ensure that their layout code also applies the font color to tables within their layout.

A note to users who can post the KCS rankings: once Kafuka has been updated to the latest version of 2.5.3pre, there will be a CSS class for the rankings. For example, if #2E8FFF was my post text color and I had access to the KCS rankings, then I would add this CSS code to my post layout:

It would be nice to have a button/arrow so you could jump to the latest unread post on a thread. I can see the "NEW" next to a thread but it's difficult to know exactly which posts are new.

The closest we have is the » arrow that leads you to the last post in the thread. That's found next to the last poster's name on the thread/forum page. There really isn't a system in place to mark the last post in a thread you read at the moment. What I do is look for the last post I posted and work my way down. It's not the best solution but it's one as old as Acmlmboards themselves.
It's not a bad idea so we'll keep in mind! We're more focused on backend and security right now so we're not adding too many features. When the time comes we'll consider it! BTW, I've made significant progress in cleaning up the code so that it's compatible with PHP 8.x, outputs valid HTML, and has types on most (if not, all) of the functions. I'll hopefully send it to Emuz soon! |
